To live the Great Commission commanded in Matthew 28:18-20 NASB
18 And Jesus came up and spoke to them, saying, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Me. 19 [a]Go, therefore, and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to [b]follow all that I commanded you; and behold, I am with you [c]always, to the end of the age.”
Our mission is to go to the most destitute parts of the inner cities of America and bring the hope of Jesus. We believe that when we follow this command and do it with the help of the Holy Spirit, we see people the way that Jesus does, and can love them like He does as well. We believe we are in Indianapolis to see the hurting, lost, destitute, drug addicted and depraved be delivered and set free. We also believe that God is going to use U/O Indy to accomplish this.
We believe that we can meet physical needs and build relationships with people. When we do that, with the help of the Holy Spirit they will be ready to hear the life changing gospel of Jesus Christ and be ready to receive Him.
